Yael stone, who is a New York City-based Australian resident, played Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone was a graduate of NIDA. Her early work experience has enabled her to interact with the best Australian storytellers. Yael is well-known as an actor throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was delighted to find her new home when Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue where the production premiered to high praise, was the place she now calls New York City. Yael co-founded The Cannery. In The Cannery, a Bushwick Brooklyn studio The Cannery encourages new and artistic writings, and are a source of inspiration for new concepts.
